John’s impact to our youth athletic community is significant and long standing. Here are some of the ways how John has impacted youth and high school athletics across Northern Virginia:
- John’s belief in having a strong focus on teaching sportsmanship, life lessons, character, teamwork, effort and resiliency to youth and high school players.
- Recognized leader who interacts with youth, students, parents and staff with the highest level of professionalism and personal integrity.
- Nearly two decades of experience coaching and motivating players with his energy and passion.
- US Lacrosse certified coach who also coordinates delivery of Positive Coaching Alliance training for coaches, parents and players across all youth and high school sports in Northern Virginia.
- Current Head Coach, West Potomac Boys Varsity lacrosse team.
- Current President, Fort Hunt Youth Athletics Association.
- Former Commissioner, Fort Hunt Youth Lacrosse.
- Former Vice Chair, Northern Virginia Youth Lacrosse League.
- Former Head Coach, West Potomac Club Ice Hockey.

Cost is $17 per seat in Hawk’s Nest rows 5-9 behind Bayhawks bench and includes -32% group discount, pre-game tailgate, live band, games, 2v2 box lacrosse (bring sticks) and rock climbing wall.

3:00pm: Gates open for pre-game tailgate.
4:30pm: Teams warm-up.
5:15pm: Youth form fan tunnel on field.
5:30pm: Semi-final face-off: Chesapeake vs. either Denver, New York or Atlanta (TBD following Aug 4 games).
Bayhawks headliners include: 3 Tewaaraton winners (Matt Danowski, Steele Stanwick, Lyle Thompson x 2), Rookie of the year Josh Byrne, stars Myles Jones, Matt Abbott, Isaiah Davis-Allen (local), Colin Heacock, etc.
